PDP Senator Slams President Buhari Over Foreign Medical Trip

A South South Senator and leader of the senate minority, Enyinnaya Abaribe has attacked Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari for traveling abroad for a medical attention.

Senator Abaribe, PDP, who represents Abia South, said it was however right legally for the president to travel for medical treatment, but it is morally wrong of him to have left the country.

Because during the covid-19 outbreak, the president promised to strengthen Nigeria medical sector of the country.

Also, in years back the same president strongly condemned the moving out of the politicians for medical trip out of the country.

Abaribe said it is now the president who made a promise to the country that is infringing the same promise.
