The Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Works, has assured Gov. Abdullahi Sule of its continued commitment to give his administration all the necessary support to succeed in projects execution for the overall development of the state.
Hon Abdulaziz Suleiman Danladi, the Chairman of the committee gave the assurance when the Ministry of Works and Housing appeared before the committee for the assessment of its 2020 budget performance.
He said that giving the state government all the necessary support would enable its succeed in executing projects that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.
” We will continue to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed especially in area of projects monitoring and execution.” he said.
Suleiman Danladi urged the ministry to continue to ensure effective supervision of projects in order to ensure that quality works are done.
Earlier, Mr Philip Dada, the Commissioner of the ministry said that currently the state government is constructing Bus Terminals in Karu and Lafia respectively.
He said that the bus terminals if completed would help to ease traffic gridlock along the Abuja-Keffi road and would enhance the socio- economic activities of the people of the state.
The commissioner has appreciated the committee for supporting the ministry and the state government to succeed in projects execution.
