Rivers State Governor, Nzenwo Nyesom Wike is to confer the state honors on former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.

A letter of notification of conferment of the state honors sent to the former Kogi Governor says the occasion will hold on Saturday December 3, 2022, at the banquet hall of the Government House, Porthacourt.

Rivers State Governor, Wike congratulated the former Kogi Governor on the honors and for been part of the success story of the state.

Governor Wike has set aside specific time towards the end of the year to honor both indigenes and non indigenes who have contributed their quota to the development of Rivers State.
