Senator Aduda attend FCT PDP chairman’s brother’s wedding reception.

The senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday, graced the wedding reception of Mr Matthew Zaka, younger brother of the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mr Sunday D. Zaka, which held at Kuje town hall.

Speaking at the reception, Aduda congratulated both the bride and the groomed for their wedding, while wishing the couple a blissful marriage life.

He advised them not to allowed a third party into their marriage, saying they must learn to live in peace and tolerate each other as marriage is all about patience and understanding.

“And today marked another history in the life of Mr Zakka junior, with prayers that soon we shall come for naming ceremony of their children,” he said.

Aduda, however, used the occassion to preach unity and peace among the good people of the FCT, saying development can only thrive under the atmosphere of peace and unity irrespective of ethnic, tribal, religious and party affiliations.

He also advised the people of the territory to eschew politics of bitterness and violence in the build up to the 2023 general elections, even as he cautioned the youth not to allowed themselves to be used as thugs during the election.

He further called on FCT electorates to vote in people with competence and capacity, rather than on the perimeter of primordial bigotry of religion and tribe during the 2023 general election.

According to him, the only political party in the FCT is simply the interest of the people of the FCT, even a he said he will continue to build a synergy with the six area councils chairmen towards enhancing developmental projects.

Distinguish ladies and Gentlemen, permit me to remain silent in honour of late Mr Danladi Etsu Zhin, this is my first public function since his demised.

“And let me also remind you all and other FCT council chairmen both present and absent here that we are working towards thesame goals building FCT,” Aduda added.

Our correspondent report that a minute silent was observed in honour of the late former chairman of Kuje area council, Mr Danladi Etsu Zhin, whose remains was laid to rest last Wednesday, in the area.

It was observed that the wedding reception was attended by some area council chairmen, commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) Mr Ezikel Dalhattu Musa, FCT PDP state executives, stakeholders, chieftains, friends and associates of the PDP chairman as well as family members and relatives of both the bridge and the groom.
