The senate minority leader, Senator Phillip Aduda representing the FCT has commiserated with the traditional rulers council in the territory over the demised of their members, the late Etsu of Yaba chiefdom, in Abaji area council of the FCT, HRH Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu.
Our correspondent reported that the monarch slumped a died in his palace after he performed ablution to observe Magrib prayers last Thursday, night in the area.
Aduda, who was speaking during his condolence visit to the deceased Family on Friday, in Yaba, described the late monarch, as an upright leader who worked tirelessly for the wellbeing of members of his community during his lifetime.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the people of Yaba chiefdom and Abaji area council as a whole over the loss of the well-loved traditional ruler.
Aduda, said the late Etsu of Yaba was a selfless leader that had never relented in pursuing projects, which he said had brought development to his chiefdom and the entire FCT.
He added “Sadly, we lost Etsu Abdullahi, at a time when the emirate and the FCT needs his wise and elderly counselling.
“He had no doubt dedicated his life to the service of his community, the FCT traditional rulers council, state and humanity. Senator Aduda said.
“And on behalf of the people of the good people of the FCT and my family condole with the deceased family, the entire FCT emirate council, on this unfortunate loss,” he said.
Aduda, therefore, prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him aljannatu firdaus, while he prayed to God to grant the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
Our reporter learnt that the late Etsu of Yaba, HRH Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu was born on 1st of April 1956, and ascended the throne on June 21, 2012, from the Nuku rulling family in Yaba.
He was 67 years old before his death.
Senator Aduda, who was in accompanied by the incumbent Abuja south Reps member, Alhaji Hassan Usman Sokodabo, Hon Zaphaniya Jisalo, Abaji PDP chairman a d top party chieftains as well as his senior legislative aide, Alhaji Abdulrahman Takushara were received by some traditional rulers at the deceased palace.
