A renowned grassroot politician, mobilizer and South South Vice Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, High Chief Dan Osi Orbih has frown at a statement credited to him alleging that he call out the incumbent Governor of Edo State as an Ingrate.

The PDP leader says there is nowhere he utter such comment or granted any interview in relation to that urging members of the public to discountenance such report with ill motive to destroyed his image and make it look as if he and the Governor were at longer-head.

“I have been inundated by calls and messages concerning a statement credited to me by one Ben Ogbemudia who claimed he called and I told him in a telephone interview that I said Governor Godwin Obaseki is an ingrate.

The credited statement read thus:

“I am too busy now to engage Obaseki in a non-issue. When the time is ripe, I will address him. The party leadership in the state and national have addressed that, anything they are doing is just a nullity.”

“To set the record straight, I did not grant any interview to anybody. This can only be either the figment of the imagination of the faceless writer or the handiwork of some persons who wish to stoke the embers of discord. My interviews are always with major news sources in Nigeria, not unverifiable online newspapers who use ‘click baits’ for readership.
