The people of Toto LG in Nasarawa State has been thrown into a mournful mood following the sodden death of a Senior Director in the Nasarawa State Government Civil Service, Danladi Ibn Umman.
He died today Thursday 19th May, 2022 at Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia at the age of 54 as a result of brief illness living behind One wife and Six children.
On till his Demise, he was serving as Director Promotion, Pension and Grading at the office of Head of Civil Service Lafia.
Ibn Umman was a one time Director Administration and Supplies, DAS office of the Deputy Governor and has also served as Director Planning, Research and Statistics, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Service commission.
He was also before his death the National President of Gade Development and Cultural Association GWADECA. He hails from Gombe in Gadabuke Development Area, Toto LG of Nasarawa State.
He was buried today at Shabu cemetery in Lafia the Nasarawa State Capital where the Chief Imam of Shabu JIBWIS Mosque Mallam Musa Salihu enjoined people to always make their ways right with God as death can come calling at anytime.
He prayed God to comfort the family and grant the deceased eternal rest.
The funeral prayers had in attendance Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly Alh Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, Member Representing Toto /Gadabuke at the State Assembly Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa, State Commissioner for Health Pharm Ahmed Baba Yahaya, State Head of Service, Retired and Serving Permanent Secretaries, Chairman State Civil Service Commission and other Government Officials as well as other sympathizers.
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Alh Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi who expressed shock over the Demise of Danladi Ibn Umman described it as a colossal loss to him personally, the family, associates and the State Government.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi described the sodden death of Ibn Umman as one too many that has created a huge vacuum.
He prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljanatul firdausi and urged the family to take solace in God.
