Hon. Solomon Agada described Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State as one of the heroes of democracy in Nigeria owing to his contribution and sacrifices to the nation and the State in particular, and also Congratulated Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu for his victory in the just concluded APC presidential primary election.
The Publisher of Confluence Trust Newspaper, Hon Solomon Agada has described Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State as one of the heroes of democracy in Nigeria.
Agada made the statement in Abuja after the successful APC presidential primary election held at Eagle Square, Abuja.
He noted that, unlike other aspirants who got the support of governors overwhelmingly, Governor Bello counted on the support of God Almighty, women, youths and people living with disability.
For the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello name to be on the ballot paper is worthy of commendation as the power that be within the micro-zone does not want him to participate in the first place thereby micro zone the presidency to southern part of the country, a position that Bello resisted and stood against from the beginning to the end which is a demonstration of an ideal democracy in practice.
Hon. Agada urged the governor to move on with his life in good faith as age is still on his side and he should work for the candidate of the party for the overall interest of the country.
Hon. Agada who was at the APC primary election noted that, the process was peaceful and he congratulated Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu for the victory at everyone and advised him to be magnanimous in victory by carrying every one along for the success of the forthcoming presidential election.
