The Turaki of Toto Kingdom, Barrister Muhammed Ahmed Omas have been honoured with an Award of Excellence Service to the Community by the leadership of Toto Development Association (TODA).
Barrister Omas received the Award at the Grand Reception and TODA Special Excellence Service Award Ceremony in honour of the Retired Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, Hon. Justice Suleiman Umar Dikko.
Reacting to the honour done him, Barrister Omas said the Award will serve as a catalyst to render more service to the people, stressing that every position one occupies should be used wisely to the benefit of the people.
He commended TODA for honouring the Retired Chief Judge and for Awarding those who are contributing to the growth of the Area, saying such gesture will encourage recipients to do more.
“Kudos to TODA for organizing an event of this magnitude in honour of the State’s Retired Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Dikko and for awarding some personalities, it is really commendable.
To me, this is something that is worthy of emulation because with this, the recipients are encouraged to do more, families of those who have gone to the land beyond will have a sense of belonging that their parents/family members are being honored even after their death and again, the main celebrant (Chief Judge) will be very happy as well to be received by his people after a meritorious service”
Barrister Muhammed Ahmed Omas prayed Almighty Allah to continue to help the leadership of TODA to enable them succeed in its quest at offering selfless services to the people and enjoined them not to relent efforts in their quest of giving the Association a facelift.
