Global Times Nigeria reports that a student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Mirabel Obi, whose twerking video went viral has revealed that she had suicidal thoughts when she was threatened with expulsion over the incident.

Obi, a first year student of the UNN recently spoke In a chat with My school news TV, where she said, “I wasn’t even myself. At that moment, I was even thinking maybe I should just kill myself or something. I didn’t even know my way around. I went to someone’s house to go and sleep, someone I didn’t have a real connection with. I just had to beg her to sleep in her house.”
“I didn’t eat that day or the next day. I wasn’t thinking straight. The kind of thoughts in my head was that I should just take sniper and die.”
She said that will be the last mistake she would ever undertake in her life, adding that education is everything that shouldn’t be gamble for worldly things.
She stressed for the need for every students to always adhere strictly to rules and governing an institution in order not to incurred the full wrath of the law.
