As the processes geared towards the wedding solemnization for the 3rd wife to be of the political leader, women in Umaisha, Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, the home town of the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi came out in their numbered to shower praises on their leader.
The women on Friday organized Egbira Night to honour the Speaker’s bride Princess Rukaiyat with pumps and pageantry.
The popular Egbira singer Asabe Iganuma, Sir 2door another popular Egbira musician from Kogi State, Sule Osofiyo, Haj. Larai Loko and Lukman Sarkin Algaita were all on ground to entertain guests at the event.
The Speaker and his bride were supported by his kinsmen alongside Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa and Hon. Yusuf Omaki as well as Pharm. Ahmed Baba Yahaya among others.
Speaking at the venue, The Executive Chairman of Toto local government, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas described the Speaker as a moral boaster whose leadership styles has brought enormous development to the area and hence the solidarity from within and outside the council.
The Chairman assured the guests of adequate security of life and property before, during and after the wedding solemnization slated for Saturday 27, November, 2021.
