HE, Chief Helen Mukoro Idisi, Newly Appointed YAN Head Of Mission/DG, Diaspora Directorate

As part of efforts to bridge communication gap between Nigerians in Diaspora and at home, the Youth Assembly of Nigeria Diaspora-Directorate under the able and pragmatic leadership of Her Excellency, High Chief Helen Mukoro Idisi, has perfected plans to create a Facebook TV for documentary, interviews and events with sole aimed at getting Nigeria youths inform of its ongoing activities and programs.

The essence of this initiative will go along way in discussing the Youths and their activities in the diaspora and in Nigeria, it will also include business, trade, women, girl child education, leadership, job and empowerment opportunities others are security, health, politics, mental health, and the challenges they face in the diaspora.

According her, the YAN TV is expected to first air the Rt. Hon Speaker of YAN, Ambassador Shuaibu Sani, Her Excellency, Helen Mukoro Idisi who is the Head of Mission/Director General of Diaspora-Directorate along with other ambassadors from Germany, France, Ireland and three ambassadors from different states in Nigeria.

The programs is purely on how to empower the youths. Few months into the event, SSA on Communication & Public Relations, Special Assistant on Investment and Trade will have interface interview with all YAN State ambassadors, and all elected officials at Federal, State and local level.

Official in government organizations and Chamber of Commerce to enable the forum get feedback on what each Local government, State and National organizations would want the YAN leadership in diaspora to do for them or participate in their institutions and events.

Yahya Idris of Global Times Nigeria Online News could join the SSA on Communication and Public Relations to Host the YAN Diaspora-Directorate Facebook TV Network, as he invites guests to the weekly event, among others and this will help the forum get more members in most parts of the country and world at large.

On YAN TV Program, Nigerians home and abroad can join to watch the program live every Monday at 1.30pm Nigeria Time, and 10.30am on Wednesdays and 7.30pm on Fridays respectively. She added.
