2023: CEO/MD KIPL Aishat Suleiman meets women, drums support for Tinubu, Ohere, APC Candidates

Ahead of the upcoming 25th February and 11th March elections, the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director Kogi Investment and Properties Limited, Hajiya Aishat Suleiman have returned to grassroots to canvass support for the candidates of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the central district of the State.

The MD tasked women to come out en-masse to vote Presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senatorial candidate, Hon. (Engr.) Abubakar Sadiq Ohere, house of representatives candidate and as well State House of Assembly candidate slated for 11 March 2023 respectively.

Mrs Suleiman said the need to return APC and sustain peace, unity and development in central district of the State is paramount owing to what was on ground before the coming of present administration under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Global Times Nigeria report that political appointees from the Central District had embarked on operation meet the people and stakeholders before elections.

The KIPL boss commended the women for their support, resilience and urging them to keep faith with the party and it’s leaderhip, even as she said effort are ongoing to eradicate poverty through massive employment and vocational skill to equipped women and youths to become self reliance.

She also held series of meeting with all women leaders from Adavi Local Government chapter of the party, where she assured them of continued inclusive leadership.

She said women are the major stakeholders when comes to electioneering process and hence the need to maintain their stand by coming out in their number to vote APC from Top to bottom so that peace, unity, security and development will be consolidated.

The MD reiterated the present administration commitment to provide more opportunities for women and youths without religion, ethnic and party’s consideration.

While appreciating women for their support, she named some legacy projects as executed by Governor Yahaya Bello which include road network, Okene reference hospital, security of lives and properties, appointment of sons and daughters, empowerment of women and youths among others.

The meeting held at the zonal woman leader’s residence in Adavi LGA with women from various ward in attendance.

Earlier, the women leaders forum said as a representative of the people they’re equal to the task and only waiting for the party to give them go ahead as regard to working for APC from unit to national levels.

The women however, appealed to political office holders and elected officials to carried them along as to compliment Governor Yahaya Bello’s policies and programs for the people of the State.
