2023 Elections: Coalition of Toto youths backs Gov Sule, Nasarawa Speaker, APC candidates, Meets Council Boss.
Preparatory towards the forthcoming 2023 general elections, coalition of youths from Toto local government area of the State has thrown weight behind the incumbent Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, member representing Ugya/Umaisha State constituency, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, member representing Toto/ Gadabuke State constituency, Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from the area.
Comr. Musa Maikaya leader of the group said they came out in their number to showcase their support for the reelection bid of the Governor and all other candidates of the party.
Maikaya who is also known as Some are Wise expressed optimism that the ruling party remains the only platform that given their people much needed development and dividend of democracy since 1999.
Globaltimesnigeria.com had reported that the youth group troops into the secretariat premises with different placard soliciting support for Governor Abdullahi Sule, Nasarawa Speaker, Alhaji Balarabe, Hon. Usman Shafa and other candidates.
He said their unflinching support and solidarity to the ruling party wasn’t only to vote for APC but rather massively mobilized the masses to vote APC in 2023 elections
The young Maikaya assured the chairman of their readiness to support all candidates from top to the bottom particular taking into consideration the achievement recorded for the past year under the present administration.
He lauded the chairman for the reception and honour dine them despite short notice of their coming.
On his part, Executive Chairman Toto LGC, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas commended the youths of Toto LG for always supporting the ruling party with a particular reference to present administration under the leader of His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule.
The elated Chairman said he was impressed seeing coalition of youths from different ethnic groups and religious coming to support the ruling government, adding that the government will continue to do their job in order to serve the citizens better.
Tashas assured the youths that his office is wife open for any youths who wish to come up with developmental ideals that will fast-track development of the area.
He also said his administration has also worked very hard to ensure security of lives and property of the citizens.
