The group link the controversial and suspended Chairman of Koton-Karfe, Kogi local government, Hon. Isah Abdulkarim Bala Ecomog of complicity in the act for using the taxpayers money meant for development to recruit PDP agents as media aide with aimed of attacking some appointees serving in the present administration led by Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in the State.
An Abuja based and Kogi State born activist who is now a spokesperson for a erstwhile suspended controversial Chairman for Kogi LG, Austin Okai Usman have been urged to restraints from attacking the Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural resources, Engineer Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu.
The coordinator of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Koton-Karfe, Kogi local government chapter, Comrade Isah Abubakar Ada Abu, has condemned the social media attack launched on the most loved and cherished Kogi State Commissioner for solid Mineral and natural Resources, Hon. Engineer Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu
Comrade Ada Abu also accused the suspended Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Isah Abdulkarim Bala Ecomog for being brains behind act, advised Ecomog to apologize to the people of Kogi LG for his Inept and crass incompetent Leadership Styles when he served the council.
Comrade Isah Abubakar Ada Abu in a statement issued and made available to the press on Monday described the act as not only barbaric but also uncivilized to the youth and people of Kogi LG.
The Kogi LG youth leader further alleged that “this criminal act orchestrated by some people who are no longer comfortable with the Commissioner’s high rising profile design this political and well calculated attack to being him down.”
He said the famous youth friendly Commissioner was misunderstood by Okai and his co- travelers by resorted to their open show of shame on the Social Media.
This is coming after Austin Okai earlier wrote a week ago on his verified facebook account saying he received a message via his inbox by Ecomog team alleging that some leaders in the State including the solid Minerals Commissioner removed the former Chairman for his inability to shared security vote with them.
Okai in repeated post on 6th Monday, September 2021 wrote that the former SSA on Media and publicity appointed by the suspended Chairman of Kogi LG was sacked over his refusal to counter his allegations against some leaders in the State.
Okai had received bashed from youths of Kogi State for daring the most accessible, workable and youth’s friendly Commissioner, Engr. Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, described his action as lost sheep that is still being under breastfeeding of his mother.
Some groups bluntly told Okai to desist from attacking the famous Kogi Commissioner, pointing out that his leadership qualities endeared them to present administration in the State.
In a quick reaction, Comrade Ada Abu expressed displeasure with the former Executive Chairman, Isah Abdulkarim Bala Ecomog who finally surrendered and allow himself be used as tool by opposition as against State government officials.
In a similar development, another group under the aegis of Koton-Karfe Progressive Movement (KPM) has accused the former Executive Chairman, Isah Abdulkarim Bala Ecomog, of killing the LG system in the area under his watch over a year ago.
The group in a statement on Sunday, in Koton-Karfe, the LG headquarters by Ismaila Sadiq challenged the former council Chairman to account for a Tractor he leased out for commercial service which amount to 7.5 million from March – August 2021.
On the internally generated revenue, Sadiq said the former Executive Chairman squandered over 2.8 million naira meant for development and maintenance of the council from March to August 2021 and the said amount of money remain unaccounted for.
Global Times Nigeria Investigation further revealed that the suspended Executive Chairman had mortgaged one of the council tractors for an undisclosed amount of money he collected from one Adis, a loyalist of (Shaba).
Global Times Nigeria revealed that the suspended Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Isah Abdulkarim Bala Ecomog was suspended after being indicted by the State House of Assembly following a crimes he perpetuated before, during and his days in office.
The group further commended Engr. Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu for his all inclusive leadership styles which is now the talk of the day within and outside the shores Kogi State.
“We can authoritatively confirmed that the former Chairman is now a mole among the ruling APC with a mandate to sabotage the Governor’s presidential ambition in 2023, God willing. “
The group leader urged Engr Bashir Gegu not to be distracted by those who have failed their people when they were given mandates at various levels.
“Leadership has influence hospital, projects across Kogi LG, traditional institution upgraded, women, youths and appointed into the present administration from LG to State level.”
“We are not surprised that you’re now made to be receiving the attacks, it is because of your sincere support you’ve been rendering to GYB2PYB and your stand to ensure the government succeed.”
Further investigation revealed that the Commissioner have won and received several awards as part of efforts to appreciate and spur him to continue rendering good leadership to his people and beyond.
