BIRTH:
Born at Umuahia on the 26th of October 1980 into the renowned Abiriba’s family of Umuokehi Obiohuru, Ohuhu in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.
EDUCATION:
He began his early education in 1987 at Afugiri Primary School, Umuahia Abia State and completed with a First School Leaving Certificate in 1993.
He was enrolled into the famous Williams Memorial Secondary School, Afugiri in 1993 and graduated with West African Examination Certificate in 1999. He further went to obtain his National Examination Council, NECO Certificate in 2000 at Royal Comprehensive College Ezzamgbo, Ebonyi State.
In 2001, He meritoriously gained admission into Abia State University Uturu, where he studied Industrial Physics and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
His insatiable drive for knowledge and accomplishment took him to the United States of America, USA in 2005 where he bagged a Bachelor of Nursing, BSN from the prestigious Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi, Texas in 2014.
CAREER:
Between 2008 and 2012, he joined the United States Airforce where he served with diligence and honor. As an Airman, he received several awards and recognitions from within and outside the continental USA.
POLITICAL JOURNEY:
Once apolitical but he was endeared into politics by the need to bring government closer to the people, hence, his adventure into partisan politics between 2015 and 2019 with his appointment as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Abia State on Diaspora Matters. During his tenure, he collaborated with the state government in conducting several town hall meetings in diaspora, thereby fostering and strengthening the involvement of Abians in diaspora in politics and government.
In 2018, he actualized a childhood dream by floating the Bahadur International Foundation – A Non Governmental organisation registered in Texas, United State of America and in Nigeria that has amongst many things, seen to the socio-economic upliftment of the youths, especially in the area of skills acquisition and empowerment.
