2023 National Assembly poll: Abia APC Stakeholder, Kalu Paschal rally support for Ben Kalu’s reelection

A political stalwart from Abia State and the Director, Royal House Consultancy, Mr. Kalu Paschal, has rallied support for the spokesman of Nigeria House of Representatives and member, representing Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State, Hon Benjamin Kalu, for a second term in office.
This is even as Abia chieftain applauded Rep Kalu for demonstrating uncommon and exceptional leadership since his assumption of office as Representative of Bende Federal Constituency shrouded on attraction and building of meaningful Infrastructures in every part of the Constituency.
In a statement issued to journalists in Umuahia, on Sunday, thanking the federal lawmaker, Paschal opined that Hon Ben Kalu has redefined governance in Bende Federal Constituency through the attraction and facilitated of federal government Social Investment Empowerment Programme which has assisted many youths, men, and women to be self-engaged and self-dependent to raise their families, thereby reducing hardship being faced by the people.
The Bende-born business mogul noted that Rep Ben Kalu had facilitated the construction and reconstruction of new and moribund school blocks in most of the Community schools in Bende’s local government area of Abia, facilitated construction and rehabilitation of new and dilapidated roads which many of them are completed and some ongoing.
Continuing, Paschal also pointed out that the federal lawmaker representing Bende Constituency in the green chamber of National Assembly, Benjamin Kalu has initiated numerous Skill Acquisition Empowerment schemes, wherein many of the Bende constituents, youths, men, and women were trained in different areas of Artisanship.
According to him, “Hon Benjamin Kalu has initiated and has continued to sponsor education/academic pursuit of hundreds of indigent Bende constituents under his philanthropic foundation. He has equally built, provided, and facilitated electrification projects in Bende local many communities in Bende federal constituency water bore-holes, the attraction of the construction and reconstruction of rural roads by the federal government, the building of health centers in many communities in Bende Federal Constituency with adequate provision of medical equipment, facilitation of federal jobs to indigent unemployed constituents, the building of houses to the less privileged, widows, and widowers, provision of Mechanized farm equipment to indigent farmers in the area, reconstruction of local community civic halls, empowerment and development of youths, men and women through provision of vehicles, etc.
The Political Stalwart further posited that Rep. Benjamin Kalu has performed well in all indices and levels of governance, especially as former Commissioner in Abia State and currently, a member of the National Assembly, urging Rep. Kalu to jo as he has shown uncommon, effective, and responsive representation that has fostered unprecedented Infrastructural development in every nooks and cranny of Bende constituency.
He urged the federal lawmaker to continue to push bills, motions, and oversight functions that directly create a positive impact and enhance the welfare and security of lives and properties of the people of Bende Federal Constituency, assuring that the electorates in Bende federal constituency will reciprocate the good and ever-lasting gestures brought in, in entire Bende federal constituency by Hon Ben Kalu in the last three years.
“There is no vacancy in Bende constituency seat at the federal House of Representatives. We, constituents of Bende are satisfied and okayed with Kalu’s developmental strides which have greatly improved the living standard of people, and that’s why we ask him to seek reelection come 2023 as his overwhelming achievements stand to speak for him. He doesn’t need much to campaign when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), lifts the ban on political electioneering campaigns.
Paschal also used the medium to call on eligible Nigerian voters at home and diaspora, from Bende local government area to return home and get registered, and as well as, revalidate their Permanent Voters Card (PVC), to enable them to elect credible leaders, and Hon Ben Kalu to enable him to consolidate on the laudable and tremendous gains recorded since and after assumption of office in 2019.
He urged Abia electorates and entire eligible Nigeria voters to be wary of the machinations of political moneybags and jobbers when exercising their franchise in the coming 2023 general elections in the state as they can no longer be allowed again to mortgage the destiny of people of the state and country at large.
