Hon. Usman Labaran is the incumbent member representing the good people of Toto/Gadabuke constituency in the Nasarawa State house of Assembly.

The lawmaker in his Sallah message to his constituent congratulated the people of Toto local government on the just concluded Ramadan fast and subsequent Eid-El-Fitr celebration, urging the residents of Toto and environ to be security vigilant and conscious in reporting suspicious elements to the constituted authority for an appropriate action.

Hon. Usman Labaran Shafa stated this at his ancestral home, Shafa electoral ward of Toto LG shortly after observing Eid-El-Fitr 2 raka’at prayers, Monday, called on Muslim faithfuls to fervently prayed for peace, unity and stability of the State and sustained lessons learnt during the weeks long fasting.

The lawmaker who was speaking in an interview with newsmen said the State government under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule has done credibly well for the people of Nasarawa State most especially Toto LG, hence to reciprocate such gesture by massively vote in the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates to emerged in 2023 elections.

Hon. Shafa recalled in 2019 when he his people asked him to resigned from his duty post as a school principal to contest election into the Toto/Gadabuke State constituency, saw good reasons to support his aspiration to come and stand, noting that such massive support he garner has not faded away because of his contributions to the development of the area.

He also said prior to his 2015 election he has about 5 years to his constitutional retirement age

According to him, 7 months after his assumption of office he launched an empowerment programs where he gave out sewing machines, grinding engines, refrigerators, farm products as part of his efforts to tackle poverty and improve socioeconomic activities of his people.

“We provided good governance through quality representation, we defeated insecurity and ensure stability in the State.”

He said APC administration in the State is committed to providing critical infrastructure to improve economic status of the area.

Speaking further further, Mr. Labaran Shafa thanked Engineer Abdullahi Sule, Executive Governor of the State for his people’s oriented leadership that has brought redemption to the State.

He equally thanked the crown political leader of Toto local government, and Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, representing Umaisha/Ugya constituency, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Balarabe for his inclusive leadership style and his ability to sustained the party in Toto LG.

He vehemently spoke why the people of Toto LG should adopt and support APC in the coming election was due largely to her people’s oriented projects that has brought succour and redemption such as good governance in the country. He said APC remains the party to beat owing to her various intervention programs scatter all over the country.
