2023: Why FCT people will vote massively for Atiku – FCT campaign DG.

The campaign Director General (DG) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, in the FCT, Comrade Eziekel Musa Dalhatu, has explained why people of the territory will vote massively for the party’s presidential candidate in 2023 general election.

He said Senator Philip Aduda, who is representing the good of the FCT had during the reign of the PDP administration under President Goodluck Jonathan, ensured that eight federal commissioners were appointed, adding Aduda was also instrumental to the appointment of three executives directors, which he gave their names as Ambassador Ayuba Ngbako, Musa Talle and Gabriel Aduda.

Dalhatu, while speaking at the inauguration of the six geo – political zones campaign directorates and 2,000 PDP support groups in Abuja, on Friday, also said that Senator Aduda was instrumental to the appointment ambassadors for the people of the people of the territory.

“But as we speak today, people of Abuja don’t have ambassadors anywhere again, we dont have executive directors anywhere again. As we speak, I am the only appointed federal commissioner in the FCT, when we had eight because we don’t have government at the center ” he said.

He added “so if you are thinking we don’t need president from the PDP, you don’t know the game. It is when you have president at the center that our Senator will be able to do well,” he said.

According to him, the reason why people of the FCT across various ethnic groups that comprised of Yorubas, Igala’s, Igbo’s, Hausa’s, Egbira’s among tribes have resolved to vote again for Senator Philip Aduda in next years election, was because people of the territory were on the verge of loosing their chances due to lack of PDP government at the center.

Dalhatu, who is the commissioner for Public Complaints Commission (PCC) representing the FCT, also said the party will not concede AMAC /Bwari house of representative seat to states has six house of representatives seats at the national assembly.

He also said that only eight senators, including Senator Aduda out of the 109 senators were returning to the red chamber, saying others could not be able to get return tickets back to the senate.

Also speaking, the senate minority leader, Senator Philip Aduda, while addressing the six geo – political zones and the party’s support groups, said the essence of the inauguration of the zonal campaign committee was to encourage and discuss with them on how ensure the victory of the party in 2023 election.

“And just like you have always given us support, we have come here again to seek for support once again so that we can deliver both our presidential candidate and other candidates come February, 2023 election,” he said.

Aduda, however, said he has been able to do his best interms of youth and women empowerment as well as provision of viable social amenities across 62 political wards of the FCT which he said included heath centers, rural roads, scholarships for indigent students, water, rural electrification, employment for graduates and support for traditional Institutions across the FCT.

He, therefore, pledged to do more for the good people of the FCT if he is given the mandate to represent the people of the territory come in 2023 election.

On his part, the FCT state chairman of the PDP, Sunday Zaka, while inaugurating the directorate of the six geo – political zones of the campaign council, while congratulating them, also urged them to ensure they embark on vigorous campaign across the FCT in order to ensure the victory of PDP in February, next year’s election.
