Ghara Declares Interest For Nasarawa PDP Chairmanship

Comrade Bala Umaru Ghara was a former Acting Chairman of the Nasarawa state chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, and has declared his intention to run for the State Chairmanship position of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Nasarawa state State.

 

While Making his official declaration last week in Lafia, the State capital, Comrade Ghara said he was eminently qualified to lead the party after garnering enough experience from the public service and the founding fathers as well as notable leaders of the PDP and as a member of the party since 1998 who had served in various positions of responsibility.

The former Legislative Aide at the National Assembly said, “with all sense of sincerity, I am proud to say that I am PDP and PDP is Bala Ghara. I have been in this party right from its inception in 1998 to date and I have been faithful and worked for the party.

“My experience spans various roles, from serving in different capacities to leading campaign efforts at the grassroots level. This invaluable exposure has equipped me with the knowledge, skills and insights necessary to effectively lead our party to new heights.

“With utmost sincerity, I can proudly say that PDP is synonymous with Bala Ghara. “Now, more than ever, our party needs strong and capable leadership to navigate the challenges and embrace the opportunities that lie before us. The former House of Assembly candidate in 2019 and 2023 respectively assured that if elected, he would be a unifying force within the party, “bridging divides, fostering cooperation and collaboration among members, and working tirelessly towards our shared goals. Born in 1974 at Wamba LGA in Nasarawa state, Comr. Bala Umaru Ghara attended LGEA Primary school Muggu, Government Secondary School, Shabu and Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa all in Nasarawa state. He has served at various capacities with Nasarawa state government and National Assembly, Abuja.

He has diverse experience in unionism as Branch Chairman, NASU at SUBEB, State Trustee, NASU, NEC Member, NASU and as Acting NLC Chairman, Nasarawa State.
