The Edo State High Court sitting in Benin, Thursday, 12th September 2024, has restrained the Inspector General Police, IGP, and his agents from arresting Dr. Kelly Inedegbor, Chairman of Esan North East Local Government.
The court has issued a restraining order against the Inspector General of Police, preventing the arrest of another local government chairman in Edo State today, thereby upholding the will of the people over federal interference in the electoral process.
