Hajia Ramatallahi Bismillahi Remembered with Fidau Prayer, Foundation Launch

A special 40th-day prayer session was held in remembrance and peaceful repose of Hajia Ramatallahi Bismillahi, matriarch of Alhaji Tajudeen Ibrahim Bismillahi’s family, on Sunday at her country home in Ejuku, Yagba East Local Government Area.

The Fidau prayer ceremony, honoring the life of the departed, welcomed an impressive assembly of society’s elite from within and beyond the state, featuring the Elujuku of Ejuku land, Chief Lamidi Ayeni, the Elulu of Mopa land, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, National Assembly Member Hon. Abiodun Akinlade from Ogun State, Dr. Nasir Mustafa, former Director General of Abuja’s National Productivity Center, Prof. Irefi-led delegation from Federal University Lokoja, NASFAT representatives from across the country, distinguished Islamic scholars, politicians, sympathizers, and a multitude of other esteemed individuals.

Sheikh Buhari Omo Musa, together with other revered scholars, officiated the funeral prayer, supplicating Allah to grant the deceased serenity in the afterlife and praying for their eternal repose.

The cleric prayed for God’s continued blessings, guidance, and provision for the deceased’s children, and commended Alhaji Tajudeen Ibrahim Bismillahi for his notable achievements and substantial contributions to the propagation of Islam in his homeland.

The ceremony climaxed with the launch of the Bismillahi and Ramatallahi Foundation, established in memory of his late parents, for which friends and associates raised millions of naira to complete the Oke Ayegun center.

Bismillahi/Ramatallahi Foundation has similarly flagged off the construction of classrooms blocks at four Islamic schools in Kogi Western Senatorial District, benefiting Isanlu, Imela, Lokoja, and Koton-karfi.

To enhance their living conditions, women were given employment.
