The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon. (Barr.) Muhammed Tanko Musa Osuku, has reaffirmed the commitment on Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to strengthening security and accelerating development across the state and the country at large.

Barr. Osuku made the assertion on Tuesday while receiving a delegation of village chiefs (Ohinoyis) from Onzo, Ohuma, Ogbendu and other communities who paid him a courtesy visit at his office, Civil Service Commission House, Zone 8 Lokoja.

Barr. Osuku thanked the delegation for the visit and assured them that their message would be conveyed to the appropriate authorities. He also lauded the traditional rulers for promoting peaceful coexistence in their respective communities, urging them to sustain the harmony for continued development.

Speaking on behalf of their communities, the traditional rulers expressed deep appreciation to Governor Ododo for what they described as his inclusive leadership style, noting that it has significantly impacted grassroots development, particularly in the areas of security and delivery of democratic dividends.

The chiefs also pledged their unwavering support and loyalty to the governor, assuring that they would mobilise their people to align with his vision and back his re-election bid.

They further commended Barr. Tanko Osuku, the Ohimegye of Igu Koton-Karfe, HRM Dr. Saidu Akawu Salihu, as well as the Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Muhammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, for their leadership roles, describing their contributions as exemplary and worthy of emulation.
