Breaking: Appeal Court Dismisses Abure’s Appeal, Upholds Lower Court Ruling
The Court of Appeal has dismissed the appeal filed by Abure, describing it as lacking merit and affirming the earlier decision of the Nasarawa High Court.
In its judgment, the appellate court faulted the High Court judge for issuing an interim order against Nenadi Usman, describing the action as reckless and taken without jurisdiction.

The court further held that the constitution of the interim committee remains an internal affair of the party and, therefore, beyond the interference of the court.
It also noted that the substantive suit before the lower court was directed against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and not a matter of internal party affairs.
Consequently, the appellate court upheld the decision of the lower court in its entirety and awarded a cost of N10 million against Abure.
