A leading All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial aspirant for Kogi West, Tajudeen Bisimillahi, on Thursday submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

Bisimillahi completed the submission process after duly signing the required documents, formally signalling his intention to contest the Kogi West senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.

The aspirant’s move comes amid growing support from key stakeholders within the district.

He had earlier secured the endorsement of the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, as well as backing from prominent figures across the seven local government areas of Kogi West, making him as a strong contender ahead of the APC primaries.

Speaking after submitting the forms, Bisimillahi expressed gratitude to God and the people of Kogi West for their support and encouragement, particularly during his recent consultations across the district.

“I thank Almighty God (Alhamdulillah) and the good people of Kogi West for the overwhelming support I have received. Today marks the successful completion and submission of my Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms,” he said.

He also prayed for divine guidance and success as he embarks on the journey toward the party primaries and the 2027 general elections.

Bisimillahi reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Kogi West, pledging to provide purposeful representation if elected.
