…..Donates car, cash; says achievements are visible and verifiable
The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has continued to garner widespread grassroots support for his House of Representatives ambition ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.
Jatau, who represents Kokona West Constituency in the State Assembly, is seeking to represent Keffi/Karu/Kokona Federal Constituency in the National Assembly in the 2027 general elections.
His growing support base follows a series of consultations and engagements with party stakeholders, community leaders, religious figures, and supporters across the constituency to outline his plans and solicit backing for his aspiration.
During a meeting with Nasarawa West APC zonal officials in Keffi, Jatau reaffirmed his commitment to providing inclusive and purposeful leadership, promising increased dividends of democracy if elected to the Green Chamber.
The Speaker, widely regarded as a grassroots politician, has intensified his outreach efforts in recent days. He held separate meetings with APC stakeholders in Karu Local Government Area, where party leaders reportedly endorsed his candidacy.
He also visited the Executive Chairman of Karu LGA, Hon. Abubakar Aliyu Madaki, and paid homage to the Village Head of Aso Pada, alongside other strategic engagements.
Speaking during the interactions, Jatau highlighted his achievements as Speaker, noting that his record in legislative performance, promotion of unity, and people-oriented initiatives remains visible and verifiable.
“I have made meaningful contributions in the areas of education, healthcare, agriculture, water supply, employment, and empowerment. My achievements are there for everyone to see,” he said.
He added that, if elected, he would leverage his experience to attract federal projects and accelerate development across Keffi, Karu, and Kokona.
“By the grace of God, I will lobby for impactful projects and ensure rapid development of our constituency,” he assured.
Jatau also called on party members and constituents to support his bid at the forthcoming APC primaries.
Earlier, the Nasarawa West APC Zonal Chairman, Mr. Isaiah Agah, commended the Speaker for his performance and urged him to sustain the tempo.
He assured Jatau of the zone’s support and prayers for the success of his ambition.
Other speakers at the various meetings described the Speaker as a humble, accessible, and committed party loyalist, pledging their support for his aspiration.
As part of his outreach, Jatau donated over N3 million to various groups and presented a brand-new car to the APC State Treasurer in Karu LGA, Hajiya Fati “Door to Door,” further boosting goodwill among party faithful.
