APC Chieftain Ereyitomi Rejects Alleged NDC Membership, Says Political Blackmail Will Fail
The member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, has dismissed reports and social media claims alleging his membership of the National Democratic Coalition (NDC), describing them as false and a calculated attempt at political blackmail.
Ereyitomi reaffirmed his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), insisting that the purported NDC membership card circulating online is fake, forged, and intended to mislead the public and stir unnecessary political tension.
Speaking through his political associates in Warri, the lawmaker condemned what he termed a “coordinated cyber sabotage campaign” aimed at tarnishing his image and undermining his longstanding commitment to the APC in Delta State.
He alleged that those behind the publication are unsettled by his growing influence and relevance within the political landscape of Warri Federal Constituency and the state at large, stressing that no amount of propaganda would derail his political focus.
“I remain a committed and loyal member of the APC. I have no link whatsoever with the NDC or any other political platform outside the APC family. The so-called membership card being circulated is fake, fraudulent, and the handiwork of mischief makers bent on causing confusion,” he said.
Ereyitomi warned that politics should not be reduced to acts of forgery, character assassination, and the spread of falsehood, noting that those responsible for the publication risk legal consequences if they fail to desist.
Pundit in Delta State say the development may be linked to ongoing political realignments and heightened activities ahead of future elections, as key actors continue to consolidate their positions within the APC.
Meanwhile, supporters of the lawmaker across Warri Federal Constituency have rallied behind him, describing the allegation as baseless and politically motivated.
They maintained that Ereyitomi’s consistent participation in APC activities at both state and national levels is evidence of his unwavering allegiance to the party.
They urged the public to disregard the circulating document and rely on verified information, insisting that the lawmaker’s political identity and loyalty to the APC remain unquestionable.
