Eid-el-Kabir: World Bank Assisted Project Financial Management Unit Boss, Aliu Abdulazeez Felicitates Muslims, Calls for Peace and Unity

The Head of the World Bank Assisted Project Financial Management Unit, Mallam Aliu Abdulazeez, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, urging Nigerians to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, peace, and unity.
In his Eid message issued in Lokoja on behalf of the Unit, Mallam Abdulazeez described the festive period as a solemn moment for reflection on humility, obedience, and Allah’s divine provision in difficult times.
He called on the people of Kogi State and Nigerians at large to use the occasion to intensify prayers for lasting peace and an end to insecurity, which he said has continued to threaten the nation’s unity and rich cultural diversity.
According to him, Nigeria was once admired for its peaceful coexistence and cultural harmony, stressing the need for citizens to work collectively toward restoring those cherished values.
Mallam Abdulazeez specifically congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and the entire family of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
He prayed for continued wisdom and strength for the leaders, expressing hope that their commitment to unity, peace, and the collective progress of Kogi State would continue to yield positive results for the people.
The Head of the Unit also felicitated with the Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Dr. Habibat Tijjani, whom he described as a woman of exceptional dedication and passion for the development of the state.
Mallam Abdulazeez further emphasized that the significance of Eid-el-Kabir goes beyond festivities and merriment, urging citizens to imbibe the enduring values of sacrifice, faith, compassion, and total devotion exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
He called on the people to remain steadfast in promoting peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and mutual understanding among all ethnic and religious groups for the continued growth and stability of the nation.
