Party Primaries: Hon. Daniel Ogazi Urges APC to Reconcile Aggrieved Members Ahead of General Elections

Member representing Kokona East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi, has called on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to urgently initiate peace and reconciliation efforts aimed at pacifying aggrieved party members following the recently concluded party primaries in the state.

Hon. Ogazi made the appeal during his Sallah message delivered at his residence in Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The lawmaker, who emerged victorious in the APC primary election for the Keffi/Karu/Kokona Federal Constituency seat, expressed concern over the recent defections of some party stakeholders, describing the development as one that requires urgent attention from the party leadership.

According to him, proactive reconciliation measures are necessary to preserve the unity, structure, and electoral strength of the APC ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

He noted that disagreements and grievances are common occurrences after party primaries due to conflicting political interests, stressing that the APC is not exempt from such realities.

Hon. Ogazi therefore urged party leaders and stakeholders to immediately commence reconciliation moves, while also advising winners of the primaries to remain magnanimous in victory.

Speaking on his emergence as the APC flagbearer for the Keffi/Karu/Kokona Federal Constituency, the lawmaker said he was confident of victory owing to his political track record and contributions within the state’s political landscape.
