Former Nasarawa Speaker Balarabe Visits Umaisha, Condoles Alhaji Suleiman Baba Over Wife’s Demise
Former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has paid a condolence visit to his hometown, Umaisha, in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, following the death of Hajiya Salamatu, the first wife of Alhaji Suleiman Baba.
Balarabe Abdullahi, who currently serves as Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, Yobe State, visited Umaisha on Sunday to sympathize with the bereaved family and the community over the loss.
During the visit, the former Speaker expressed his heartfelt condolences to Alhaji Suleiman Baba and members of the family, describing the death of Hajiya Salamatu as a painful loss not only to her immediate family but also to the community.
He urged the bereaved family to accept the tragedy as the will of Almighty God, noting that God gives and takes life according to His divine plan and appointed time.
Rt. Hon. Balarabe Abdullahi described death as an inevitable end for every mortal and encouraged the family to remain steadfast in faith and prayer during the difficult period.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant her eternal rest, and admit her into Aljannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for strength, patience, and fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding, Alhaji Suleiman Baba expressed profound appreciation to the former Speaker for identifying with him and his family during their moment of grief.
He thanked Balarabe Abdullahi for the visit and prayers, praying Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly and continue to bless him in all his endeavors.
