PAAU VICE-CHANCELLOR FELICITATES PROFESSOR PAUL OMOJO OMAJI ON HIS 70TH BIRTHDAY
On behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff, and students of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, I warmly felicitate with Professor Paul Omojo Omaji, former Vice-Chancellor of Salem University and former Vice-Chancellor of Admiralty University of Nigeria, on the auspicious occasion of his 70th Birthday and Thanksgiving Celebration held on June 7, 2026.
Attaining the age of seventy is a rare privilege and a remarkable blessing. Reaching this milestone with a distinguished record of impactful scholarship, exemplary leadership, and enduring contributions to humanity makes the celebration even more significant and worthy of honour.
Professor Omaji belongs to a distinguished generation of academics whose influence extends far beyond the classroom and the boundaries of their disciplines. Throughout his illustrious career, he has exemplified the highest ideals of scholarship, mentorship, integrity, and selfless service.
As Vice-Chancellor of both Salem University and Admiralty University of Nigeria, he provided visionary leadership marked by intellectual excellence, administrative competence, and an unwavering commitment to educational advancement and national development. His stewardship left enduring footprints on the institutions he served and inspired countless individuals within and beyond the academic community.
His life and accomplishments continue to serve as a source of inspiration to colleagues, students, associates, and all who have been privileged to benefit from his wisdom, scholarship, and exemplary character.
As family members, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers gather to celebrate this important milestone, we join them in giving thanks to Almighty God for a life richly blessed, purposefully lived, and exceptionally impactful.
We pray that the years ahead will be filled with continued good health, divine favour, peace of mind, and renewed strength for even greater service to God, humanity, and the advancement of knowledge.
