PAAU Vice-Chancellor Felicitates FUL VC, Prof. Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, on 60th Birthday
The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff and students of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Professor Usman described the milestone as a fitting moment to celebrate Prof. Ibileye’s remarkable contributions to scholarship, leadership and the advancement of higher education in Nigeria.
According to the PAAU Vice-Chancellor, attaining the age of 60 represents not only a significant personal achievement but also an opportunity to reflect on a life dedicated to academic excellence, integrity, service and humanity.
He noted that Prof. Ibileye has distinguished himself as an accomplished scholar and visionary administrator whose impact continues to inspire colleagues, students and stakeholders across the nation’s university system.
Professor Usman particularly commended the Federal University Lokoja Vice-Chancellor for his transformative leadership since assuming office, stating that his tenure has been marked by sustained efforts toward academic excellence, institutional growth, innovation and the promotion of a progressive university culture.
“Your life exemplifies excellence, dedication, integrity and a rare commitment to the advancement of knowledge and humanity,” the PAAU Vice-Chancellor stated.
He further prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, wisdom and strength for the celebrant, expressing confidence that Prof. Ibileye would continue to make meaningful contributions to the development of the university system and national growth.
“As you celebrate this significant milestone, it is our prayer that Almighty God grants you continued good health, greater wisdom, renewed strength and many more years of fruitful service to the university system, our nation and humanity at large,” he said.
Professor Usman reiterated the warm congratulations of the entire Prince Abubakar Audu University community, wishing Prof. Ibileye many more years of outstanding accomplishments and impactful service.
