The Coalition of Youth Support Group for the 2027 governorship ambition of Ahmed Aliyu Wadada has held its maiden meeting, featuring a familiarisation session and physical assessment of prospective state, zonal and local government area (LGA) officials.

The meeting, presided over by the Chairman of the Coalition, Comrade Jaafar M. Loko, brought together youth leaders from across Nasarawa State, marking a significant step toward strengthening the movement and laying a solid foundation for its future operations.
Deliberations at the gathering centred on strategies to advance the coalition’s objectives, with members unanimously resolving to mobilise support for Senator Wadada and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in future elections.

The coalition also discussed the forthcoming Nasarawa North Senatorial bye-election, with members committing to work toward ensuring the victory of the APC and its candidate in the poll.
As part of preparations, a special committee was constituted to develop strategies and coordinate mobilisation efforts for the bye-election.
In a further move to strengthen the group’s structure, an organising committee was inaugurated to oversee the swearing-in of certified officials across all categories within the coalition.

According to the resolutions reached, inauguration ceremonies are expected to commence next week, beginning with state officials, followed by local government, ward and unit officials.
The exercise is expected to formally kick-start operations across all levels of the coalition.

The meeting, held at the Wadada Ambassadors Office in Lafia, ended on a successful note, with participants making valuable contributions and reaffirming their commitment to the coalition’s mandate and political objectives.
