The National Coordinator of the Alliance of North Central Youth (ANCY), Hon. Gabriel Joshua Ojochegbe, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure victory in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) during the 2027 general election.
Ojochegbe made the declaration while inaugurating the Federal Capital Territory chapter of ANCY in Abuja, where he reaffirmed the group’s support for the APC and President Tinubu’s second-term bid.
According to him, the 2027 election will mark a departure from previous electoral contests, stressing that the ruling party is fully prepared, united, and strategically positioned to win through grassroots mobilisation and sustained engagement with voters.
“This election will not be business as usual. The APC is fully prepared, united, and committed to delivering victory through grassroots mobilization, effective campaigns, and the support of the people,” Ojochegbe stated.
The ANCY National Coordinator urged APC members, supporters, and youths across the FCT to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and actively participate in the democratic process.
He emphasised that the party’s campaign strategy would focus on showcasing its achievements and engaging the electorate through issue-based campaigns rather than divisive politics.

Ojochegbe further reaffirmed ANCY’s commitment to strengthening democratic participation among young Nigerians, expressing optimism that the APC would record a decisive victory in the FCT in the 2027 polls.
He noted that youth participation, unity, and sustained grassroots mobilisation would play a significant role in determining the outcome of the election, adding that ANCY remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote political inclusion, peaceful elections, and national development.
As preparations for the 2027 general election gradually gather momentum, Ojochegbe maintained that the APC would continue to consolidate its support base across the FCT while encouraging citizens to participate responsibly in the democratic process.
