ANCY Inaugurates FCT Chapter Executives, Rallies Support for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda
The Alliance of North Central Youth (ANCY) has inaugurated its Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Executive Council in Abuja, with a call on the new leadership to intensify grassroots mobilization and support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The inauguration, held at ACO Estate along Airport Road, Abuja, was described by the organisation as another milestone in its drive to strengthen its presence and youth engagement across the Federal Capital Territory.
Addressing the newly inaugurated executives, ANCY National Coordinator, Comrade Gabriel Joshua Ojochegbe, urged them to serve with discipline, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility as ambassadors of the organisation and advocates of the Tinubu administration’s policies.
Ojochegbe noted that no sitting president has won the FCT in a presidential election since Nigeria’s return to democratic rule in 1999. He expressed confidence that the trend could change in the next general election through sustained grassroots mobilisation and political engagement.
“We must put our house in order. With effective mobilisation and unity of purpose, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win the FCT in the next election,” he said.
The National Coordinator charged the executives to remain committed to youth mobilisation, community engagement and public enlightenment on the programmes and achievements of the current administration, while preparing for future political activities.
He stressed the need for unity, loyalty and effective grassroots organisation, urging the new leadership to expand ANCY’s structures across the FCT and promote peace, development and active youth participation in governance.
Ojochegbe also encouraged the executives to uphold the values of integrity, patriotism and selfless service, while supporting efforts aimed at securing the re-election of President Tinubu.
Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated officials, the FCT Executive Council pledged to work towards advancing the vision and objectives of the Alliance of North Central Youth and to contribute meaningfully to national development through constructive youth engagement and community-driven initiatives.
