The Kogi State Chapter of the City Boy Movement (CBM) has reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the 2027 general elections.
The commitment was made during an interactive session with members of the movement drawn from the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State, held on Sunday at AKK Hotel, Lokoja, where the State and Local Government executives of the movement were officially inaugurated.

Speaking at the event, the Director General of the Kogi State Chapter of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi, said the movement has established a formidable presence across every part of the state and is strategically positioned to support the electoral success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
According to him, the movement is not in competition with any political support group but is committed to working in synergy with all APC stakeholders to strengthen the party ahead of the next general elections.
“Our major task now is to ensure that we deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in the 2027 elections. That remains our collective responsibility,” Okpanachi declared.
He urged the newly inaugurated state and local government executives to work closely with APC leadership in their respective areas by intensifying grassroots mobilisation, public enlightenment and support for the programmes and policies of the Tinubu administration.
The Director General explained that the City Boy Movement is not a political party but a support structure established to promote the achievements and vision of President Tinubu’s administration while mobilising Nigerians to sustain the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Okpanachi commended members of the movement across Kogi State for their dedication and sacrifices, encouraging them to remain focused until the 2027 electoral objective is achieved.
In his opening remarks, the Kogi State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, Hon. Jerry Olayemi, described Kogi as the “second home” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing the growing political awareness and mobilisation activities being carried out across the state’s 21 local government areas.
He praised Hon. Ogah Mark Okpanachi for his inclusive leadership style, noting that the harmonious working relationship between the Director General and members has strengthened the movement and enhanced its effectiveness.

Olayemi assured members that the City Boy Movement has expanded its structures across the state and has already commenced political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
He expressed confidence that the movement would continue to play a significant role in consolidating support for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo across Kogi State.
The event featured the inauguration of state executives, local government coordinators and other officials of the City Boy Movement, with members pledging to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of the APC ahead of the 2027 polls.
