2027: Tinubu, Wadada, Faisal, Albasheer, other Should Be Our Major Task – Ex-Toto LG Chairman Tashas Mobilises APC Supporters

The immediate past Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area, Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and residents of Gadabuke District to unite in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other preferred candidates of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Addressing stakeholders, community leaders and party supporters during a meeting in Gadabuke District on Tuesday, Tashas said the party’s major political assignment should be to secure the re-election of President Tinubu, the election of Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as Governor of Nasarawa State, Shuaib Faisal as Senator representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, and Yerima Mohammed Albasheer as the member representing Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Assembly candidate for Toto/Gadabuke Constituency.
According to him, the four leaders have distinguished themselves through quality leadership and public service, making them worthy of the confidence and support of the electorate.
Tashas urged APC supporters to commence aggressive grassroots mobilisation by embarking on house-to-house campaigns to educate eligible voters on the need to vote for the party’s preferred candidates during the 2027 elections.
He stressed that direct engagement with communities would strengthen the party’s chances at the polls and ensure that voters were adequately informed about the achievements and vision of the candidates.
The former council chairman also reassured residents of Gadabuke District that the APC leadership and its candidates would remain committed to delivering democratic dividends and responsive representation if elected.
He called for unity among party faithful, urging them to remain focused on the collective goal of securing victory for the APC across all elective positions in the forthcoming general elections.
