…Mark Ogah Calls for Increased Membership Ahead of 2027 Elections
The City Boy Movement (CBM), Kogi State Chapter, has intensified its grassroots mobilisation campaign with a strategic visit to Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, where the State Director, Hon. Mark Ogah Okpanachi, reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to strengthening its structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In press statement issued by Blessing Julius Ele-Ojo, ANIPR, State Media and Publicity Director City Boy Movement, Kogi State Chapter, leading a high-powered state delegation on Friday, Hon. Ogah received a warm reception from the Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Sidi, executive members, party stakeholders and supporters of the movement.
Speaking during the engagement, Hon. Ahmed Sidi appreciated the state leadership for its continued support and described the visit as a morale booster for members. He disclosed that membership registration across the local government was progressing steadily, with increasing participation following resolutions reached at the recent State Executive Council meeting in Lokoja.
Addressing members, Hon. Ogah explained that the visit formed part of the movement’s statewide consultation aimed at consolidating its grassroots structures, expanding membership, supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC), promoting voter registration and mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027.
As part of the visit, the State Director announced plans to establish a City Boy Movement Membership Registration Centre in Igalamela/Odolu to deepen grassroots participation and encourage more young people to join the movement.
In a major boost to the chapter, Hon. Ogah donated ₦200,000 to support membership registration and other organisational activities.
He also assured members that the movement would soon return to the area with an empowerment programme designed to improve livelihoods and strengthen community participation in its activities.
The visit reaffirmed the City Boy Movement’s commitment to advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu while supporting Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration and building a formidable grassroots political network across Kogi State.
