More than 20 students have been formally admitted into Threshing Floor International School of Ministry and Biblical Studies, the theological arm of Threshing Floor Watchman Assembly, popularly known as Salvation City, during the institution’s 8th matriculation ceremony held in Bukan Sidi, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The colourful ceremony brought together church leaders, alumni, students, family members and well-wishers to celebrate another milestone in the institution’s commitment to raising spiritually grounded leaders through biblical education.
Addressing the newly admitted students, the Provost of the institution and Bishop of Threshing Floor Watchman Assembly, Bishop Dr. Ovye John Attah, congratulated the matriculants and charged them to remain committed to the vision and mission of the school.
According to him, the institution is dedicated to raising an apostolic seed of God’s righteousness by teaching, training and empowering believers through the Word of God to become agents of transformation and light bearers, drawing inspiration from John 9:1–5 and Proverbs 14:34.
“This event is not merely a celebration; it is the making of history in the school and in the ministry as a whole,” Bishop Attah declared.
The cleric disclosed that the institution has secured the necessary government registration and partnered with relevant organisations to strengthen its academic and ministerial programmes.
He urged the students to embrace discipline, shun shortcuts, respect constituted authority, honour time, and remain accountable to God, themselves and the church throughout their academic journey.
Bishop Attah further explained that the institution was established to become a leading Bible college committed to nurturing excellence in God’s vineyard.
He noted that the school maintains academic affiliations with Christ Global Bible College & Seminary, Makurdi, Benue State, and El-Elyon International Bible College & Seminary, Karu, Abuja.
“Our vision is to shine forth the righteousness of God in every hidden and dark place on earth.
Our core values include righteousness, discipline, accountability, equality, honesty, personal growth and responsibility,” he said.
Delivering the keynote lecture titled “The Power of Knowledge,” guest speaker Apostle Abene Julius Argu encouraged the new students to recognise the transformative power of knowledge and apply the biblical teachings they would receive to positively impact society.
He urged them to remain spiritually focused, reminding them that knowledge acquired through God’s Word carries the power to transform lives and communities.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Alumni Association, Evangelist Enoch Ajenajeyi Bawa, congratulated the matriculating students and encouraged them to uphold the values and reputation of the institution wherever they find themselves.
Responding on behalf of the newly admitted students, the representative of the 8th matriculating class, Mr. Bitrus Danladi, expressed appreciation to the management, the provost and guests for the opportunity to study at the institution.
He assured the gathering that members of the new intake would remain committed to excellence, work diligently and comply with all rules and regulations guiding the institution.
The ceremony featured prayers, goodwill messages, academic processions and the formal administration of the matriculation oath, marking the official commencement of the students’ journey in biblical and ministerial studies.
