According to the Coalition, the commendation recognised the Deputy Governor’s support for Governor Sule and his contribution to the development of Nasarawa State.
The delegation also used the opportunity to explain the group’s organisational structure, objectives and operational guidelines to the Deputy Governor.
The Coalition appealed to Dr. Akabe to provide guidance and support as it pursues its programmes and political mobilisation activities ahead of 2027.
Accepting the appointment, the Deputy Governor thanked the group for the honour and expressed his readiness to support its activities.
Dr. Akabe also urged members of the Coalition to remain committed to their objectives and work towards the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada and other APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
The engagement comes amid continuing grassroots mobilisation by groups supporting Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada’s governorship bid. The Coalition has previously reported a structure extending through local government areas, wards and grassroots levels across Nasarawa.
Also present at the meeting was the Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Aminu Mu’azu Maifata.
The occasion concluded with the presentation of the appointment and commendation letters and a group photograph.
