The All Progressives Congress (APC), Delta State Chapter, has felicitated with Deltans and Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement signed by Valentine Onojeghuo, Esq., State Publicity Secretary, APC, Delta State., The State Chairman of the party, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, JP, in a goodwill message marking the anniversary, commended Deltans for their resilience, patriotism and commitment to the peace and development of Delta State and Nigeria.
Arenyeka described the anniversary as an opportunity for Nigerians to reflect on the country’s journey since independence, honour the sacrifices of the nation’s founding fathers and renew their commitment to building a united and prosperous country.

According to him, Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary is a celebration of the country’s shared identity, resilience and collective aspiration for a better future.
“The 66th anniversary of our independence is a celebration of our shared identity, resilience and collective hope for a greater Nigeria.
As Deltans and Nigerians, we must continue to believe in our country and support initiatives that promote economic growth and national development.”
The APC chairman urged Deltans to continue supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the administration of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, particularly the state’s M.O.R.E. Agenda.
He stressed the need for Nigerians to turn the country’s diversity into a source of strength rather than division.
“Our diversity should be a source of strength, not division. Let us promote peace, unity and development, and continue to work together for a Delta State and Nigeria where every citizen has an opportunity to prosper.”
Arenyeka also called on APC members, stakeholders and citizens to remain committed to democratic values, good governance, accountability and the wellbeing of the people.

He extended his goodwill to Deltans at home and abroad, as well as Nigerians across the world, wishing them a peaceful and memorable Independence celebration.
