63rd Nigeria’s Independence: let’s celebrate our potential and diversity — Says Toto LGC Boss, Hon Tashas
An All Progressives Congress, APC, stalwart and Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Council, Honourable Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas says there is need to celebrate the suspicious occasion of the Nigeria independence Nasarawa anniversary having achieved a lot to this stage.
This was contained in a press statement issued by Yahaya Idris Toto, the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, on Media & Communications, said Hon Tashas also felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule and Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for witnessing the 63rd independence anniversary. The Toto LGC boss noted that despite some compounded challenges ranging from from security, economic and political confronting the nation, there is need to thank God for relenting peace and stability.
Tashas who earlier congratulated Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi on his recent victory at the Tribunal affirming his victory in the 2023 election.
He praised Governor Abdullahi Sule for aiding development and securing Toto LG as against banditry and all forms of insecurity in the area.
While expressing joy on the new Toto LG where series of projects were ongoing while some are completed, saying the area is wearing a new look compared to some years back.
Tashas harped on the need for peaceful coexistence Toto, Nasarawa and Nigerians irrespective of religion and ethnicity, adding that togetherness is the strength leading Nigeria to success and prosperity.
