The Speaker of Edo House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Blessing Agbebaku, the Executive Chairman of Owan West LG, Hon. Dickson Ahonsi, PDP chairman in Owan West, Engr David Okoh-Aigbodion, and other party leaders, welcomed defectors from the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at Oke Old Ora, in Owan West Local Government Area in Edo State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had fixed September 21 for the Edo State Governorship Election.
The decampees gave the PDP their support and assured the Speaker that they will deliver the community without stress as APC in the area is dead. As it were, Oke-Old Ora is sealed for Asue/Ogie.
