Ex-LG Vice Chair. Blessing Ekele celebrates Kogi First Lady’s birthday
The former Vice Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area in Kogi State, Mrs. Blessing Aisha Ekele, has extended her congratulations to the First Lady of Kogi State, Her Excellency Hajiya Sefinat Usman Ahmed Ododo, on her birthday today, March 6, 2025.

Mrs. Ekele praised the First Lady for her impactful contributions to the state and wished her continued success and blessings.
In a statement released to the newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday, Hon. Ekele lauded her Excellency for attaining a new age with fanfare, describing kogi first lady as an epitome of exemplary qualities of a good mother.
The Magajia 1 of Uke kingdom in Nasarawa state stated that since the first lady assumed office, she has kept everyone in the state spell bound with activities that have been transforming the lives of women,widows , youths and the less privileged in the society of kogi and beyond.
The former council vice chairman added that her capacity as the state chairperson of the Renewed Hope Initiative under the auspices of Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the president, she had translated the programme to the benefit of all, in the spirit of inclusiveness, compassion and reliable mother that she is.
“The first lady has initiated various empowerment programmes which had empowered women and young girls across the state.
“Her office had offered grants to over 1,000 women in small and medium businesses across the state.
“Her programmes had enhanced girl child education and vocational training to safeguard the future of young girls and women in the state.
“These antecedents have transformed the Kogi first lady to a great reliable mother ,making her a beacon of hope for women and youths in the horizon of the state”, she said.
However, Mrs Ekele said the attributes of the first lady cannot be separated from having a good husband in His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, the amiable governor of the state who has been working hard to bring the state from the woods, by implementing human face programmes and projects.

Mrs Ekele said: “Happy Birthday, Your Excellency! May the new age bring happiness and joy to you and your family, the good people of kogi state and diaspora.
“May this new birthday renewed you with new vigour, strength and wisdom in the course of your service to the good people of the state .Happy celebration, your Excellency “.
