Hon. Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim, the sole female member representing Nasarawa Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has officially presented her accomplishments from the past two years in office to her constituents. She compiled and revealed these achievements in a detailed book titled “Seeing is Believing.”

The book features a comprehensive account of the projects she personally executed, those she successfully lobbied for, as well as initiated programs, policies, and empowerment efforts. Importantly, the document uses factual evidence, including pictures, to illustrate these achievements, providing transparency and concrete proof to the people she represents.

Danyaro’s tireless effort highlights her commitment and tangible contributions within her two year tenure.

The document gave an insight to what she has done for her constituency in the last two years of her stewardship at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

To this end, the Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs used the weekend, Saturday and Sunday and went round all the electoral wards in her constituency where she engaged the people through town hall meetings, commissioned new water projects and distributed fertilizers to enhance food security among other engagements thus assuring them of better days ahead.

Her people who are overwhelmed with her outstanding performance in the last two years in office, unanimously passed vote of confidence on her and endorsed her for second term come 2027 as they promised to support her fully to succeed.

Happy with the development, she assured them of more developmental initiatives before the end of her tenure.

It was reported that Dr Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim had a walking visit to the seven electoral wards that constituted Nasarawa Central Constituency on Saturday, accompanied by her political associates and supporters.

Hon. Danyaro visited Ara 1, where she commissioned a borehole at Makama Unit and handed it over to the community for use and also donated a brand new generator with a 6800-liter capacity to power the borehole.

In Ara 1 and 2 and Laminga electoral wards, she held town hall meetings with critical stakeholders, APC ward executives, women, and youths, revealing her achievements over the past two years and presenting a document showcasing several completed projects.

The lawmaker told her constituents that her visit marked two years in office and was aimed to interact with them on the journey so far.

It was observed that most of the executed projects were either directly contracted by her or facilitated through her initiative, earning commendations from residents of the seven electoral wards.

Hon. Danyaro and her team inspected the ongoing renovation of Taal Model Primary School in Ara 1 which was 80% completion stage and praised the contractor for a job well done.

The team also visited the palaces of the traditional rulers of Ara 1, Ara 2, and Laminga, as she reiterated her commitment to an open-door policy and providing more dividends of democracy to the people.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Umar Namama, Commissioner in Nasarawa State Local Government Service Commission, revealed that the visit was not a campaign but a familiarization one to interface with constituents at the grassroots, understand their problems, and see how to address them appropriately.

The visit featured inputs from stakeholders as contributions were made and questions were asked applauding the lawmaker for her developmental initiatives.

Similarly, at the Sunday’s activities, the Nasarawa State Accountant General Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed commissioned a water project executed by Hon. Dr. Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim.

The project, tagged “Tafisu Water Project,” is located within the four electoral wards in Nasarawa Central and was commissioned on Sunday.

During the commissioning ceremony, which was accompanied by the donation of a 6800-watt generator, Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed described the initiative as commendable.

He noted that Hon. Hajarat Danyaro has performed beyond expectation, considering the massive projects and programs carried out by the lawmaker across the seven wards.

According to Dr. Mohammed, a lawmaker’s duty is not typically execution of projects but rather lawmaking affairs but Hon. Hajarat Danyaro has gone beyond her responsibility, has make a difference and he called on residents of the constituency to rally around her to attract more for the people.

It was observed that the Tafisu Water Project was a significant development for the community and its commissioning was a testament to Hon. Hajarat Danyaro’s commitment to improving the lives of her constituents.

It was further observed that the projects will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the lives of the people, providing them with access to clean water and improving their overall well-being.

In addition to the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Hajarat Danyaro also held a meeting with stakeholders, party executives, and elders from the four electoral wards in Nasarawa town.

The meeting, which was held at the Nasarawa Local Government Secretariat, provided an opportunity for Hon. Danyaro to engage with her constituents and discuss her plans for the future.

Speaking separately, the stakeholders and party ward officials passed vote of confidence on Hon. Hajarat Danyaro’s leadership, promising to continue supporting her beyond 2027.

It was reported that the show of support was a testament to Hon. Danyaro’s effectiveness as a leader and her commitment to serving her constituents.

The commissioning of the Tafisu Water Project and the meeting with stakeholders are significant milestones in Hon. Hajarat Danyaro’s tenure as a representative of Nasarawa Central Constituency.

And on the whole, during the weekend outing, the Village Head of Kurudu honoured her with the traditional title of Ruwan Dare Kurudu, meaning the blessed night rain fall that gives everyone joy.

While rounding her engagements off, the lawmaker Dr. Danyaro distributed fertilizers to her people to boost food production.
