Audu Foundation describes alleged fertilizer diversion in Kogi State as baseless

The leadership of the Shuaib Abubakar Audu Foundation has confirmed that the recent distribution of 10,000 bags of fertilizer to farmers in the 21 local government areas of Kogi State was done fairly and equally.
The fertilizer distribution followed the foundation’s guidelines, with coordinators responsible for ensuring the fertilizers reached the intended peasant farmers across all the local government areas.
The foundation’s chairman, Prince Ogacheko Daniel Idoko, emphasized the commitment to the welfare of the people and to complementing the efforts of the Kogi State government in boosting agriculture.
He urged beneficiaries to ensure the fertilizer are used for its intended purpose to support food sufficiency and agricultural development in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He said the efforts to provide palliatives and support to vulnerable populations in the state was part of Shuaib Abubakar Audu Foundation aims and objectives.
While responding to allegations published by National Watch Online News Medium, Ogachecko clarified that the fertilizer distributed by the foundation is intended exclusively for farmers, not for any personal use or other organizations.
He urged the public to disregard the publication, describing the allegations as baseless attempts to undermine the foundation’s positive work over the years.
He commended Prince Shuaib Abubakar Audu, the Grand Patron of the Foundation and current Minister of Steel Development, for prioritizing the people’s needs.
He also disclosed the foundation’s significant contributions to Kogi State, stating that no media propaganda can distract their mission.
