The women of Kogi State have been encouraged to emulate Hajiya Rekiya Tijani’s leadership style, which significantly promotes peace, unity, and development in the State.

At the Ojotule Michael Support Group’s maiden stakeholders interactive session held last week at the Children’s Amusement Park (now Kogi Youth House, Lokoja), Hajiya Rekiya Tijani was honored for her immense support and guidance to the group.

Led by Prince Michael Ojotule, the group aims to bridge the gap between leaders and electorates, ensuring that their messages and development initiatives reach the intended audience effectively.

The group described Hajiya Rekiya Tijani as sincere and committed core Ojotule supporter and core APC woman, who have given her all towards ensuring sustained development in the State

Hon. (Hajiya) Rekiya Tijani is a distinguished leader, peace advocate, and skilled mobilizer of the masses.

She was an integral member of the Audu/Falake political organization, where she successfully mobilized women across Kogi State, contributing to the historic APC victory.

Hailing from Emere in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, she is an accomplished educationist with a proven track record of serving in various institutions of learning.

Her educational background includes Army Children School Zaria, Army Children Secondary School Chindit Barracks Zaria, and earned a degree in B.Ed from the University of Maiduguri.
