2027: Nasarawa Southern youths, women endorses Musa Maikaya for Governor

The Southern Senatorial Zone youths and women under the Nasarawa South Progressive Network have declared their unflinching support and commitment to resist any manipulation in the upcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship congress in Nasarawa State.
The group have endorsed Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya (Ciroman Toto) as their preferred governorship aspirant for the 2027 Nasarawa State governorship election.
Comrade Abduraman Ibrahim, the group’s coordinator, announced the endorsement at a forum titled ‘Clarion Call, Fresh Vision, Real Impact’ organized by the group in Lafia.
The group’s leader explained that the endorsement was based on Maikaya’s selfless service and contribution to humanity, including human capital development and infrastructural development, which set him apart from the other aspirants.
“This group is actively positioning itself to support a credible and transparent political process within the APC ahead of the elections.”
Ibrahim stressed that Nasarawa State deserves good leadership that continued from where Governor Abdullahi Sule administration stop in 2027, prompting an appeal to the state’s residents to encourage Musa Maikaya into joining the governorship race.
He said the Maikaya Foundation has achieved notable success in enrolling over 750 disadvantaged individuals in the state health insurance program, thereby enhancing their access to quality healthcare.
The Coordinator also pointed out that the Maikaya Development Foundation’s annual educational support funds have positively impacted more than 525 students pursuing tertiary education in 2025.
He said Maikaya Foundation has also contributed greatly to rural electrification in the state through the provision of transformers to underserved communities across the state.
According to Ibrahim, the Maikaya Foundation has brought hope to neglected grassroots communities through youth and women’s empowerment, borehole drilling, and the provision of instructional materials to schools across the state.
Also speaking, Blessing Isah has joined the call for Maikaya to contest for the Governorship seat, urging women and young girls to rally around him.
Her voice, “Maikaya is the answer, he speaks from the heart, acts from conviction. He is the politician who listens before he leads, ensuring every voice from farmers in the fields to the traders in the market counts,” she declared.
