Festive Alert: Kogi CP Kankarofi Felicitates Christians, Deploys Troops for Hitch-Free Christmas

The Commissioner of Police in charge of Kogi State Command, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, psc, mni, has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to residents of the state, assuring them of a peaceful, joyous, and hitch-free celebration.

CP Kankarofi revealed that the Command has rolled out comprehensive security measures across Kogi State to safeguard lives and property before, during, and after the festive period.

“These initiatives encompass the deployment of sufficient police personnel, intensified patrols, intelligence-driven operations, visibility policing, and strategic postings of officers at worship centres, recreational spots, major highways, markets, and other public areas.”

According to a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP William Ovye Aya, operatives from conventional police units, Police Mobile Force (PMF), Motor Traffic Department, Safer Highway Patrol, and various tactical squads have been mobilized to uphold law and order, nip criminality in the bud, and guarantee a serene yuletide.

The CP charged all officers to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, remain to the public, and act with firmness tempered by civility.
