Toto LG Grassroots Mobiliser Salihu Rossy Takes Maikaya Gospel to Gadabuke District, Urges Gade Nation to Key into 2027 Project
Renowned grassroots mobiliser and political heavyweight, Hon. Salihu Ibrahim Rossy, has taken the campaign gospel of Dr. Musa Muhammed Maikaya, the Ciroman Toto, to the heart of Gadabuke District in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, charging the resilient Gade nation to rally behind the 2027 governorship project with unyielding unity and purpose.
Speaking at a colourful luncheon organised by the Gade Babye Women Association of Toto, popularly known as AGEYEYI AGHEZHA, Rossy, a former administrator during the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) era under ex-Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, transformed what could have been a mere social gathering into a powerful platform for political awakening, where women’s voices converged with the collective aspirations of the people for continuity, competence, and compassionate leadership ahead of the crucial 2027 governorship election.
In his rousing address to an enthusiastic audience that brimmed with energy and anticipation, Hon. “Dr. Maikaya is a man whose footsteps echo in every village, whose doors swing wide open to the poor and needy, and whose heart pulses in rhythm with the joys and struggles of ordinary folks,” Rossy declared, emphasising that the journey to succeed Governor Abdullahi A. Sule demands more than fleeting popularity, it calls for proven loyalty, deep administrative experience, profound humility, and an authentic concern for humanity, all virtues which he affirmed Maikaya embodies in abundance.
Rossy, himself a product of grassroots politics, recounted how Maikaya’s proximity to the people positions him uniquely, closer to the soil and the sweat of the masses than any other contender, insisting that true leadership is forged not in air-conditioned boardrooms but in the fires of community life.
“This is not just about politics,” Hon.
